Ackk Studios is a development team founded by Andrew Allanson and Brian Allanson in 2010.[1] They incorporated in 2013.[2]

In 2008, the brothers would meet Ian Bailey who later became apart of the team.[3]

Brian would make mockup gameboy screenshots as a passtime, and soon realized the potential to make a video game. In 2012, Brian, Andrew, and Ian decided to get together again to develop Two Brothers.[3]

Two Brothers[edit | edit source]

In August 2012, they announced their first project Two Brothers, an action RPG.[3] They crowdfunded the game on Kickstarter in order to buy more equipment and tools for the game. They earned $16,257 in funds, more than double what they asked for. The game released on November 11th, 2013 for $14.99.[4] It later released for Steam on December 3rd, 2013.[5]

A remake of the game called Chromophore (also known as the "Two Brothers Director's Cut") was teased on June 9th, 2014. It would run on the unity engine and be ported to multiple consoles.[Citation Needed] It has remained unreleased as of now.
