Gangster King and Queen
The Gangster King and Queen (previously known as just Wilfrid and Essentia) are the final bosses of the "Old Frankton Ending" route. After chasing them through Old Frankton, Alex finds them in The Throne Room and battles them in hopes of stopping them from ruining his life.
Battle[edit | edit source]
The Gangster King has access to Mend Karta, Curveball, Cement Skills, and Level Down, a skill unique to him. Level down will level a party member down by 5, making it incredibly deadly if he uses it many times.
The Gangster Queen has access to Gun Fire and Vampire Blade. Her Vampire Blade can heal up to half of her health, making it a difficult move to play around.
Battle Strategy[edit | edit source]
Since the conditions for the ending are unknown, it's also unknown what level the party is meant to be when facing them.
The Gangster Queen's most difficult move is the Vampire Blade, but one strategy is to use The Sorrowful Maiden to limit her maximum health when she's been damaged enough, greatly weakening it. Gangster King's Mend Karta also increases their tankiness, and his capacity to level down the players levels makes him a prime candidate for taking out first.Essentia can attack a single party member or use her machine gun on the whole party, which cannot be dodged. Wilfrid uniquely can only take 30 damage maximum, no matter how strong your characters are.

Trivia[edit | edit source]
- This boss fight was first seen in a video by MasterShielder76 Robles, where he supposedly found the ending. However, the ending didn't seem to exist in the files at the time.
- When the ending and boss fight was added in 1.25, the bosses were both given the Metal Affinity.
- In the old battle mode, A battle message refers to Wilfrid as an "it."
- In the old battle mode, the battle is programmed to always give $4.20 when winning the battle.
- While obviously a reference to "420," this may connect to how DMT and drugs is a reoccurring theme in Ending 3's mythology.
- Before I.V, there was a bug where if Alex loses the battle, the game will continue anyways as if he won.
- In the old battle mode, The Essentia 2000 stats are whatever stats she had when she was in your party. This means that if you hack her back into your party, the battle will have some odd behavior.
- Healing your Essentia will also heal the Essentia opponent.
- When the either Essentia dies, the battle will be won instantly.
- Humorously, this means that the opposing Essentia can kill herself and win the battle for you.
- Using self-destruct or charge is a way to instantly win the battle.
