Factory Hotel

The Factory Hotel is the first dungeon of YIIK, found north just outside of Frankton. It hosts the first boss fight of the game, Wilhelm. It is supposedly the location of the Elevator Girl footage, and Alex finds Sammy here.

When Michael and Alex go to take pictures, they find a new room containing an entity. Later, after meeting Rory, a staircase appears on the outside of the Factory Hotel, leading to Sammy's room. This was added in 1.25 to make it easier to get the Broken Record.

Trivia

• The shape found on Sammy's tree greatly resembles the Borjgali. It symbolizes the sun and eternity, often portrayed as seven wings over the tree of life. The sun? Eternity?
  • The version of the symbol found in-game actually has eight wings. Who's the eighth?
    • Does Sammy being "picked" from this tree make her its metaphorical fruit? Not that kind of fruit. Though, there's nothing saying otherwise.
• In versions prior to 1.25, Wilhelm was still mentioned by Sammy, but never appeared nor had a boss fight for unknown reasons.
