Pak kinda sounds like Park but the K gets really quiet, I think. I went to higschool with a Pak, and she said it like Park.

Semi is probably supposed to be said like “Sem-ee” Probably why she goes by Sammy. A lot of people with weird foreign names usually try and make them sound normal.
